About Me

In January 21, 25 years after my gear was stolen I restarted my Photography career.

I gained my LRPS in September 21, then in August 24 gained an MA(Photography) with merit at Falmouth Flexible. This earnt my ARPS.

During my studies I co-curated both the ‘Landings 2022’ online exhibition of student and staff work, and the ‘In the Offings’ student physical exhibition.

My autobiographical ‘Addiction Is Not The End’ was highly acclaimed by Paul Sanders and my final project ‘Islam and Christianity: Looking For Overlap In East Anglia’ increased mutual understanding.

Four of my images were displayed as full-sized posters on five local railway stations and I have had several works selected for exhibition around the country.
I am Club Photographer for FC Clacton and two local Lawn Bowls Clubs.

I am currently working on three projects in which the images serve as departure points for my readers’ imaginations. They act as meditation aids and acknowledge the truth of Barthes’ ‘the birth of the reader is the death of the author’.
I am about to rewrite the autobiographical ‘Addiction Is Not The End’, and add a related volume: ‘Recovery Is A Rolling Reprieve’. I conquered Prostate Cancer this year and this provides material for a future project.
