One on one sessions with a top class Landscape Professional https://gillmoon.com/
First Session: Bawdsey Quay, 28th May 2021
Gill has a great style:
short intro; good observation; powerful but supportive questions; great knowledge.

Gill suggested the simplification of excluding the distracting beach

this had been dry shingle

Gill pointed out that my polarising filter would
‘see-through’ the reflections on the water
I decided to save that until next time
My key take-aways were:
- Simplify! Remove distractions from your compositions
- Turn around and look around for a composition I may have missed
- Imagine the composition wet, or with different light, or a different sky
- Check the histogram and adjust exposure if necessary
- Check your images as you go
- Use the luminosity slider in Photoshop for a particular colour or selection
- Use a polarising filter to ‘see through’ reflections on water
- Consider taking small, foldable, steps
